Happy 2012!

Isn't a new year exciting? A whole year spread out before you filled with millions of possibilities. The big question is: What are you going to do with it??? The anticipation of finding out is pretty awesome.

This year is a big one for the Buehlman clan. Mark and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary in October. As if that's not exciting enough, we both hit a milestone birthday - we both turn 35 (give or take ten years. ahem.) Or is that a mid-milestone birthday? Whatever. It's a reason to celebrate!

And, as if that's still not enough, the Spence-man turns 12 which means we only have one more year before we have a teenager on our hands. No matter how you slice it, it's an exciting year. How do you begin to celebrate such an exciting year? If you're me, you come up with a hare-brained scheme to make every single day in 2012 a celebration.

In 2012 we are going to MAKE EVERY DAY A HOLIDAY in our household! I have compiled a list of holidays to celebrate every day this year (sources to come in future posts).  Some are well-know and widely celebrated, most are wacky and obscure, but whatever they are we will celebrate at least 365 of them this year as a family. This blog is going to help track and record our journey (more on the other tools I'm using in future posts), and give access to family and friends who may want to follow our wacky adventures!
